Channel Manager¶
Control Panel Location:
This section of the Control Panel is where channels are created, edited and deleted.
Permission Restrictions¶
- Access settings: Design & Content
- Channels: Create Channels
- Channels: Edit Channels
- Channels: Delete Channels
Actions¶
Settings¶
This will take you to Channel Settings.
Search¶
This will search Channels for names and titles, Custom Fields, for labels and names, Field Groups for names, Category Groups for names, Categories for names, URL titles, and descriptions, and Status Groups for names.
Sidebar¶
Channels¶
This will take you to the Channel Manager.
New Channel¶
This will allow you to create a new channel.
Field Groups¶
This will take you to the Field Groups.
New Field Group¶
This will allow you to create a new field group.
Category Groups¶
This will take you to the Category Groups.
New Category Group¶
This will allow you to create a new category group.
Status Groups¶
This will take you to the Status Groups.
New Status Group¶
This will allow you to create a new status group.
Create New¶
This will take you to the create form.
Import¶
This will take you to Channel Set Import.
Channel Links¶
This will take you to the channel’s edit form.
Manage¶
The icons in the manage column perform actions on the channel in its row.
Settings¶
This will take you to Channel Settings.
layouts¶
This will take you to Form Layouts.
Export¶
This will download a Channel Set.
Bulk Actions¶
The checkbox in the right-most column of the table selects a button for a bulk action. When at least one checkbox is checked the bulk action dropdown menu and submit button will be made available in the lower righthand corner of the table.
Remove¶
The selected channels will be removed. Removing a channel will cause a confirmation modal to appear that will summarize the action.
